BEU Vice-Rector Meets with Leaders of Student Organizations

A meeting was held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) with the leadership of the Student Youth Organization, Student Trade Union Committee, Student Scientific Society, and student clubs.
During the meeting, Bayram Huseynzade, BEU Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Public Relations, emphasized that youth policy in our country is a constant priority direction of the state and spoke in detail about the continuous attention and support provided to young people.
In his speech, Bayram Huseynzade conveyed the instructions and recommendations of the BEU Rector regarding strengthening discipline among students, increasing activity on social platforms, student-teacher relations, and other important issues.
Subsequently, the projects recently implemented by student organizations, their level of activity, participation in university events, and their contributions to students' social life were extensively discussed. The importance of organizations operating in a more dynamic, creative, and targeted manner was highlighted. During the meeting, appropriate instructions were given regarding further strengthening of activities, increasing coordination among organizations, organizing events in accordance with modern requirements, and involving students more broadly in processes, and extensive exchange of views was conducted.
Within the framework of the event, Maryam Aliyeva, a first-year student of the "Environmental Engineering" specialty at the Faculty of Engineering, who was elected as the new chairperson of the BEU Student Youth Organization (SYO) in elections held by the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union, was introduced to the participants.
It was noted that the SYO is a significant platform in increasing the social, academic, and public activity of young people, and success was wished to the new chairperson in her activities.
Maryam Aliyeva expressed gratitude for the trust placed in her and emphasized that she would work actively to further expand the organization's activities and implement projects in accordance with students' interests and needs.
