Faculty of Architecture and Construction
The Faculty of Architecture and Construction was established in 2019. Teaching at the faculty is conducted in Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
A total of 816 students study at the Faculty of Architecture and Construction in 9 bachelor's and 4 master's degrees. 1 student studying at the Faculty of Architecture and Construction in the bachelor's degree is a Presidential scholarship holder. Foreign students also study at the faculty.
The faculty has 77 employees, including 69 professors and teachers and 8 technical and support staff. The faculty's pedagogical staff includes experienced teachers known in the republic in their fields, as well as young, dynamic personnel who have been educated at various levels in our country and abroad and have had international experience. Some of the faculty employees have participated in projects of republican importance related to education and continue their activities.
The Faculty of Architecture and Construction is intended to train specialists who have analytical thinking, the ability to work with innovative technologies, practically oriented theoretical and applied knowledge, and are distinguished by the ability to apply this knowledge in solving given problems.
The application of innovative technologies and methods in the educational process plays an important role in improving the quality of education. In order to raise education to the level of modern requirements, innovative technologies and methods, modern laboratories are used. Computers, smart boards and other technologies equipped with the faculty ensure the efficiency and visibility of the educational process by meeting the needs of students during classes. Free-use laboratories operate for students to freely use the Internet.
The material and technical base of the faculty ensures the implementation of engineering training in accordance with modern requirements. This includes, in addition to auditoriums equipped with technical equipment, modern laboratories - General and Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Laboratory. In computer laboratories, students can learn Microsoft Office, CAD/CAM, PRO2, ASPEN/HYSYS, etc. programs.
A scientific research and design center operates under the Department of Architecture and Design. The main goal of the center's creation is to apply the scientific and methodological essence of conceptual projects of strategic importance for our country to the educational process.
The Faculty of Architecture and Construction offers the following specialties: Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Engineering of Construction of Engineering Systems and Facilities, Transport Construction Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Urban Planning, Industrial Engineering and Environmental Engineering.
