Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences
The Faculty of Economics and Management at Baku Engineering University has been operating since the university was established in 2016.
Currently, the faculty educates 2,157 students across 8 bachelor’s, 8 master’s, 6 MBA, and 3 doctoral programs. Bachelor’s programs are offered in both Azerbaijani and English. The faculty employs 85 staff members, including 76 teaching staff and 9 technical-support personnel. The teaching staff includes not only experienced and well-known instructors in their fields within the country but also young, dynamic professionals who have studied at various levels in Azerbaijan and abroad or have gained international experience.
The faculty’s material and technical resources ensure the provision of high-quality education. These include classrooms equipped with technical devices as well as modern laboratories.
The transparent environment and experienced staff at the Faculty of Economics and Management, which meets modern standards, enable the training of qualified specialists in this field within the country. Valuable experience has been developed in organizing and managing economic education. The facilities and resources at BMU provide the conditions to train young economists at a high level.
Since 2016, the faculty has offered full-time programs in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, and Economics in Azerbaijani and English; in Public and Municipal Administration, International Trade and Logistics, and Tourism Management in Azerbaijani. Part-time programs are offered in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public and Municipal Administration, International Trade and Logistics, and Marketing in Azerbaijani.
At the master’s level, programs are offered in International Relations and Diplomacy, Global Politics, Public Administration, Business Organization, Economic Regulation, Economic Policy, Financial Management, and Auditing (both in Azerbaijani and English).
MBA programs are offered in General Management, Finance (both in Azerbaijani and English), and in Agribusiness, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Accounting (in Azerbaijani).
Doctoral programs are offered in Organization and Management of Enterprises, General Economics, and Public Finance and Domestic Fiscal Policy, both in full-time and part-time formats.
