Admission to the “Parla” Scholarship and Development Program is now open

Admission to the “Parla” Scholarship and Development Program is now open. This program is implemented within the framework of the joint collaboration between the Education Development Fund and NEQSOL Holding. Female students enrolled in undergraduate programs at any higher education institution in the country are eligible to apply. Selected students will benefit from a monthly scholarship, internships, mentorship, training sessions, and access to programs from leading universities worldwide through NEQSOL Academy and LinkedIn Learning.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

-      Be a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

-      Be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program at an Azerbaijani higher education institution;

-      Be studying in one of the specified fields;

-      Have scored at least 450 points in the university entrance exam;

-      Have a cumulative GPA of over 80%;

-      Actively participate in extracurricular activities (volunteering, social activities, etc.).

Applicants must also meet at least one of the following social criteria:

-      Be a member of a family receiving targeted state social assistance;

-      Orphaned or raised in a children’s home.

If the applicant has one or both parents, the parent(s) must belong to one of the following categories:

-      Persons with I, II, or III degree disability;

-      Registered as unemployed;

-      Without employment and receiving an old-age pension;

-      Without employment and receiving social assistance due to age.

Note: For first-year students who meet the social criteria above, selection will be based on their university entrance exam score.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of online application, evaluation, and interview stages. Academic performance and motivation letters will be considered during the selection. Final selection will be based on interview results. During the interview, candidates will be asked about their goals, social background, activities, and student life.

Fifty successful applicants will receive a monthly scholarship of 200 AZN and participate in personal and professional development activities offered by the program.
