The dates for document submission and exams for the international dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP), implemented jointly by Baku Engineering University (BEU) and INHA University of the Republic of Korea (South Korea), have been announced.

For the 2025/2026 academic year, online registration for the international dual degree program will take place from August 1 to August 9, 2025.

This year, the BEU-INHA DDP will accept students in the following fields:

  • Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence Engineering)
  • Data Analytics (Data Science)
  • Information Technology
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The program follows a 3+1 model, with 3 years of study at BEU and 1 year at INHA University. At the end of the program, students will receive bachelor’s diplomas from both BEU and INHA University. For the 2025/2026 academic year, 25 students per specialty are planned to be admitted.

Admission to the international dual degree program is based on:

  1. The results of the entrance exams conducted by the State Examination Center (DİM) of the Republic of Azerbaijan (bachelor’s level); and
  2. An internal exam organized by INHA University and BEU, covering Mathematics, Physics, and English.

Eligible applicants are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who successfully passed the 2025 DİM exams in the first subject group and achieved the minimum passing score required for BEU-INHA DDP. Additionally, applicants must successfully pass the internal written exam. To participate in the internal exam, applicants must submit the required documents via the "online application form", which will be active from August 1, 2025. The final submission deadline is August 9, 2025, at 23:55.

The internal exam for BEU-INHA DDP will be held on August 11, 2025, and the results will be announced on August 15, 2025.

Detailed information about the program can be found in the official announcement.

The list of admitted candidates will be sent to the Ministry of Science and Education and officially registered with DİM. Admitted candidates will officially gain BEU-INHA DDP student status and are exempt from participating in DİM’s specialization choice (coding) process. Sufficient time will be provided for candidates not admitted to the program to participate in DİM’s specialization choice.

It is important to note that the BEU-INHA DDP has been implemented since 2020 under the State Program on Enhancing the International Competitiveness of Azerbaijan’s Higher Education System (2019–2023). By Presidential Decree of July 22, 2025, titled “Additional Measures to Increase the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan,” the program’s implementation period has been extended until 2030.
