Registration has opened for the “CyberCell Hackathon,” organized by BEU and Azercell.

Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Azercell are jointly organizing a student hackathon called “CyberCell.” The competition, covering cybersecurity and artificial intelligence topics, will take place at BEU on October 18–19 this year.
Students from BEU as well as other universities may participate in the hackathon.
Each team may have up to 3 members.

Cash prizes for the winners:
● 1st place – 4000 AZN
● 2nd place – 3000 AZN
● 3rd place – 2000 AZN
Expected knowledge / skills:
● Understanding of Red Team operations (attack simulation, exploitation, privilege escalation, lateral movement within networks);
● Understanding of Blue Team operations (log monitoring, anomaly detection, incident response and mitigation strategies);
● Familiarity with penetration testing methodologies, vulnerability assessment, and mapping threats to frameworks such as the Cyber Kill Chain or MITRE ATT&CK;
● Ability to analyze logs, incidents, and threat intelligence to identify attack patterns and to simulate defensive strategies.
