An info session on the "Rebuild Karabakh" hackathon was held at BMU

An info session for students regarding the "Rebuild Karabakh" hackathon was held, organized by the Technopark of Baku Engineering University (BMU) as part of the "Smart city, green future: Towards WUF 2026" project.
The goal of the project, implemented by the "For the Progress of Karabakh" Public Union with financial support from the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations, is to support the innovative ideas of youth, unleash their creative potential, and contribute to sustainable development.
During the info session, it was emphasized that the project contributes to the development of the innovation ecosystem in our country, the restoration of Karabakh, and the realization of the "smart city" concept. It was noted that such initiatives help develop the technological skills of young people and increase their social responsibility and creative potential.
At the event, detailed information was provided about the project's purpose, directions, stages, and evaluation criteria. The opportunities awaiting participants, the support mechanisms planned for the winners, and the project's idea platform based on the "Smart city, green future" principles were also discussed.
In the end, questions of interest to the students were answered, and additional information was provided about the rules for joining the hackathon and the registration process.
