BEU employee's scientific research published in Q1 category journal

A co-authored scientific article by Baku Engineering University (BEU) Scientific Research Center's research associate, Assoc. Prof. Shahriyar Mukhtarov, has been published in the prestigious Journal of Cleaner Production. The Q1 category international journal is indexed in the Scopus database.

The scientific article, titled "Relationship between CO₂ emissions and energy consumption sub-types under impact of AI-related patents and energy-related R&D investments: Evidence from the USA by novel quantile-based methods," analyzes the impact of AI-related patents and energy sector research and development (R&D) investments on the relationships between sub-types of energy consumption and CO₂ emissions in the case of the USA, using novel quantile-based methods.
