BEU Delegation Participates in Academic Exchange Program in China

A delegation of students and faculty members from Baku Engineering University (BEU) is participating in a short-term academic exchange program at Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) of the People's Republic of China.

The program, spanning July 7-22, 2026, aims to enhance participants' academic knowledge and skills, enable them to gain international experience, and further strengthen inter-university cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation will familiarize itself with BUCEA's teaching and research infrastructure and will participate in lectures and seminars on the theme of Smart Cities as part of the International Summer School, as well as various academic and cultural events.

It should be noted that cooperation between BEU and BUCEA has been developing successfully in recent years. Within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two universities, various projects are being implemented in the areas of student and faculty exchange, joint academic activities, and scientific cooperation. Furthermore, since last year, a dual degree program at the master's level under two models has been successfully implemented between the two parties.

The academic exchange program contributes to the further strengthening of the existing partnership between BEU and BUCEA, as well as to the development of educational and scientific cooperation in new directions.
