Updates to BEU's Master's Level Admissions Plan

The admissions plan for the master's level at Baku Engineering University (BEU) for the 2026/2027 academic year has been approved (https://beu.edu.az/az/admission/graduate).

In the admissions plan, the number of master's specialties has increased from 25 to 28 compared to the previous year, while the number of specializations has risen from 38 to 47. Of the 483 places allocated across specialties and specializations, 420 are assigned to the Azerbaijani-medium section and 63 to the English-medium section.

For BEU's MBA program, 175 places are planned across 8 specializations, with 160 places allocated to the Azerbaijani-medium section and 15 to the English-medium section.

The newly introduced specialties (along with their specializations) include "Computer Science" (Artificial Intelligence; Applied Mathematics), "Physics" (Applied Physics - Physics of Semiconductors and Dielectrics), and "Decorative and Applied Arts" (Artistic Ceramics and Glass). New specializations also include Financial Control and Audit, Financial Engineering, Reinforced Concrete Structures, Radio Communications, Broadcasting and Television, and Engineering Management.

A further development is the implementation of a dual degree program at the master's level between BEU and Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) of the People's Republic of China, offered under two models across 4 specializations. Specifically, 2 specializations within the "Information Technology" specialty (Information Systems in Management; Machine Learning), 1 specialization within the "Architecture" specialty (Architectural Environment Design), and 1 specialization within the "Mechanical Engineering" specialty (Hydromechanics and Hydraulic Machinery) will be offered within the admissions program. Master's students admitted to the program will complete the initial stage of their studies at BEU and continue the subsequent stage in China in accordance with the relevant model of the program. Students studying in China will benefit from scholarship opportunities provided by BUCEA. Master's students who do not wish to continue their studies at BUCEA may pursue their education at BEU in accordance with the applicable regulations and relevant academic requirements.
