BEU Students Present Innovative Projects

Students majoring in Information Technologies at Baku Engineering University (BEU) have presented innovative projects developed within the framework of the "Computer Architecture" course.

The students proposed solutions to everyday problems through artificial intelligence technologies. Their works included a variety of projects such as smart home systems, an automated restaurant concept, robotics, gesture-based control, and basic gaming systems.

The projects showcased ideas including smart home solutions featuring automated door and garage management, security and alarm systems, assistive devices for a more comfortable and productive work environment, an obstacle detection radar for vessels, an AI-based hand gesture recognition system, as well as obstacle-detecting robots.

Some projects also incorporated functions such as computer-based control, online monitoring, and automated supervision.

The presentations demonstrated that students had applied both their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in real-world projects.

It was noted that such works foster students' creativity and make a significant contribution to their future professional development.
