A scientific article co-authored by Vali Huseynov, Professor at the Department of Physics of Baku Engineering University (BEU), Corresponding Member of ANAS, and Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, has been published in a scientific journal of Springer publishing house.
The article, titled "Amplification of Energy of Low-Energy Neutrinos," has been published in The European Physical Journal C, which is ranked Q1 in the Scopus database and Q2 in the Web of Science database.
The article examines current scientific issues in the fields of cosmology, quantum field theory, neutrino physics, and the physics of monocrystals. The research investigates the interaction of low-energy neutrinos with high-energy electrons. The process by which the energy of neutrinos increases as electrons pass through a tungsten monocrystal possessing a strong internal electrostatic field has been studied theoretically. Within the framework of the research, the scientists have presented a new theoretical approach that could enable the detection of relic neutrinos.
