Seminar on Application of Next-Generation Metals Held at BEU

A seminar titled "Capabilities of ALMET-STP Company's Metals Testing Laboratory and the Application of Next-Generation Metals with Amorphous Structure in Energy Transmission Devices" has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU).
The seminar was attended by faculty members and students of the Faculty of Engineering, as well as Raiq Mirzayev, Head of the Quality Control Department of ALMET-STP LLC, and Nurlan Rafiyev, Director of the company's Metals Testing Laboratory.
Razim Bayramli, Head of the Physics Department at BEU, delivered opening remarks, emphasizing the relevance of the topic and noting the importance of organizing such seminars between manufacturing enterprises and universities.
The floor was then given to Nurlan Rafiyev, Director of the Metals Testing Laboratory and Doctor of Philosophy in Physics. During his presentation, the capabilities and modern equipment of the AZS ISO/IEC 17025-accredited testing laboratory were introduced. It was noted that the existing equipment pool ensures real-time quality control during the production process and supports the company's operations in accordance with international standards.
The presentation also provided detailed information on the application of amorphous-structure metals in energy transmission devices and their role in reducing carbon emissions.
The seminar continued with discussions, during which questions of interest from the participants were addressed.
