Entrance Examinations for Master's Degree Admission Held for BEU-INHA DDP Students

The next entrance examination for admission to master's degree programmes at higher education institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been held for fourth-year students of the Dual Degree Programme (BEU-INHA DDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University and INHA University of South Korea.
The examinations, conducted online since 2024 at the initiative of BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev, have been organised jointly with the State Examination Centre (SEC).
The examinations, held with the participation of 86 students, were conducted for fourth-year students of the "Information Technologies", "Electrical Engineering", "Electronics Engineering", and "Civil Engineering" programmes studying within the BEU-INHA DDP framework.
The examinations, held at INHA University based on a programme prepared by the SEC, lasted 3 hours and 30 minutes. The examination process was supervised by the SEC and BEU-INHA DDP staff.
Currently, 329 students are enrolled in the DDP, which is based on the 3+1 model. To date, 143 students have graduated from the programme. A further 114 students completing their fourth academic year at INHA University are set to return to Azerbaijan as the next cohort of graduates this summer.
The BEU-INHA DDP has been in operation since 2020 under the "State Programme for Enhancing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019–2023." By the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated 22 July 2025 "On Additional Measures Related to Enhancing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System of the Republic of Azerbaijan," the programme's implementation period has been extended until 2030.
