Cooperation Meeting Held Between BEU and UNEC Student Scientific Societies

A meeting was held between the student scientific societies of Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) with the aim of expanding cooperation and identifying areas of joint activity.

At the meeting, Mayis Azizov, Head of the Science and Innovation Department of BEU, and Elshad Yunusov, Associate Professor at the Department of Food and Biotechnology, delivered speeches on the role of student organizations in the development of scientific activity and emphasized the importance of expanding scientific ties between universities. The importance of involving students in research activities and encouraging their scientific initiatives was also noted.

Next, Sama Aliyeva, Chair of UNEC SSS, Afat Jafarova, its scientific supervisor, and Vusala Musayeva, scientific supervisor for the Faculty of Engineering, delivered speeches. The speeches provided information about the society's main goals and priority areas of activity, proposals were put forward on establishing cooperation between the student scientific societies of the two universities, and possible areas of joint activity were brought to attention.

Emil Salmanov, Chair of BEU SSS, provided information about the organization's areas of activity, the initiatives it carries out and its main priorities. He shared his views on strengthening cooperation between the two organizations, organizing joint scientific events, increasing students' interest in research activities and implementing new projects.

The meeting featured an exchange of views on future cooperation opportunities, and the prospects for implementing joint scientific initiatives were discussed.

At the end, the guests familiarized themselves with BEU's campus and laboratories.
